How do I register as a tutor on FindTutor.org?
At the FindTutor.org Home Page, just click the, "Register as a Tutor" link located at the top left of your screen (3rd menu item). Then fill out your account information, which includes: E-mail, Password (password must be at least six characters), phone number and zip code. Click Submit.
How about my personal profile?
Once you have submitted your account information your personal profile may be edited to your preference at anytime. FindTutor.org recommends that you fill out the personal profile to as much detail as possible, this allows the prospective client to become more familiar with your professional background.
Tutors with a more detailed personal profile tend to have a higher quantity of client inquiries. This also helps the user find the tutor that is right for their specific needs. Though it is recommended users are not required to fill out any information in the personal profile. If you would like to post your address for search purposes but are concerned about publishing your address on the Internet just unclick the publish option. This will allow users to know the vicinity in which you are located but not your specific address.
Once you have completed the information click enter you will be automatically entered into the FindTutor.org network.

Enter the zip code in the second text field to find a tutor near you. Using both keyword and zip code simultaneously will help narrow your search to the tutor that best fits your needs.

FindTutor.org provides an email section in each tutor profile. Just fill out the form on the left side of the screen (your name, your email, your zip code, and your message) and the information will be forwarded to that tutor. You can also email or call by phone directly.
